Backup Configuration & Move

The backup process is the same as moving the configuration to a new system. Before moving ensure that you have the adequate licenses to do so.

To move or backup your configuration, please proceed as follows:

1/ Backup/Copy the c:\serverscheck_databases directory (if you installed ServersCheck on the C: drive of your computer)

2/ Backup/Copy all the files in the conf subdirectory

3/ Backup/Copy all the files in the users subdirectory

4/ Backup/Copy all the files in the schedules subdirectory

5/ Backup/Copy all the files in the external subdirectory

6/ Backup/Copy all the files in the data subdirectory


Always make sure to download the installer of the software as a backup. You can download it from http://downloads.serverscheck.com/monitoring_software/setup.exe
